The Linkx IRS-20 wall sensor is the preferred optional infrared sensor for short distance requirement. It works with our Infrared Receiver Amplifier systems, Infrared Sound System and Infrared Microphone Receiver systems.
This unit needs to be installed on the wall with wall mount rack kit. It comes with a mounting/support rack and 10 meters of plenum rated cable with RCA connector on each end. The ideal location for this small sensor would be on the wall around the classroom. This will provide a clear signal path for the IR transmission from the transmitter to the wall sensor without obstruction.
In addition, you will have 180° coverage with 15m line-of sight and reception area for approx. 64m2. It collects the infrared transmission signal via 2 large detecting diodes. The sensor is connected to the mixer/amplifier via a plenum rated cable terminated with RCA connectors. The mixer/amplifier supplies the power to the sensor.
